Thompson McDaniel

As a consulting lead and part of the senior leadership team in Prague, Thompson helps clients in global transformation, especially in the contract manufacturing and outsourcing models. He has worked as a supply chain and operations consultant for over 20 years, predominately in Europe, but also in Asia and North America. The various engagements he has worked on include: procurement, strategic sourcing, end-to-end supply chain transformation, and technology implementation. Thompson is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with experience of working with clients in the industrial, consumer, automotive, life sciences, financial services, energy and telecom sectors.

Prior to joining GEP, Thompson worked with Deloitte, Central Europe where he was the supply chain and operations regional leader. He has held similar roles in PwC and KPMG.

Thompson has an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a B.A. in Economics from Tulane University. He has published a number of thought leadership pieces focusing on supply chain performance and benchmarking across manufacturing industries, and also served as adjunct professor in several leading Executive MBA programs across Europe.
