Matthew Bardell, Senior Director, Services at GEP  has been honored by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine’s 2012 Provider Pros to Know. The Provider Pros to Know list honors individuals from software firms and service providers, consultancies or academia, who have helped their supply chain clients or the supply chain community at large prepare to meet business challenges.

Matthew’s experience in developing supply chain strategies, operational excellence and procurement, both as a consultant and within industry, has helped clients across Europe and the globe. He has worked with blue chip organizations across commercial, financial and public sectors. He has a Ph.D. from Cambridge University.

“It is an honour to be recognised by Supply & Demand Chain Executive as a Provider Pro to Know for 2012, especially given the quality of Supply Chain and Procurement professionals who are affiliated with it. Working with a variety of clients over the last eleven years has been a pleasure and I look forward to addressing the evolving challenges facing the global economy and its ever more globalized supply chains,” Bardell added.

Supply & Demand Chain Executive issued a call for Pros to Know nominations in the fall of 2011. Beginning in January, the magazine's editorial selection committee selected more than 325 submissions to find the applicants that best fit the criteria.

"Our annual list of Provider Pros to Know highlights the many thought-leaders who are helping to shape the Supply Chain industry and advance Supply Chain as a respected discipline in the enterprise," Barry Hochfelder, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive said.
