Vikram Paramasivan serves as vice president, engineering at GEP, where he leads data platform strategy and drives innovation across AI-powered product initiatives, analytics and data-as-a-product capabilities.
Vikram has more than 20 years of experience in product engineering, enterprise platforms, AI, data systems, and cloud technologies. He has deep expertise in knowledge graphs, ontologies, analytics, product innovation, and large-scale engineering transformation.
Prior to joining GEP, Vikram spent more than 17 years at Microsoft, where he held senior product and engineering leadership roles across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows engineering systems and Microsoft Research. His most recent experience at Microsoft was to lead M365 compete that included engineering efforts to build migration and context aware onboarding guidance tooling and drive M365 Admin center copilot experience. At Microsoft Vikram has also led the Azure and Windows Engineering Systems team catering to 10K+ Microsoft engineering and earlier as part of Microsoft research and CTO office had contributed as founding member to the development of enterprise knowledge graph, computer vision, Azure sphere, Smart Building and Sporting platform among other innovative initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Vikram worked at Bosch, where he contributed to technologies enabling the coexistence of analog and digital surveillance systems. He has received multiple Microsoft awards for innovation and new product delivery.
Vikram earned a doctorate in management from the University of Maryland.
