Everything You Need to Know
What
GEP is consolidating its entire solutions portfolio, including GEP SMART, GEP NEXXE and others, under one unified, AI-native platform: GEP Quantum Intelligence.
GEP Quantum Intelligence is an AI-native procurement and supply chain platform. It is AI-native by design. Intelligence is not a feature added on top of legacy software; it is the platform's core. The full source-to-pay and supply chain lifecycle lives in one connected environment, drawing on decades of GEP's procurement expertise, supplier intelligence, category mastery and supply chain know-how.
The platform was launched in 2023, is live at 100+ GEP customers, is a Leader in Gartner's 2026 Source-to-Pay Magic Quadrant on the strength of its capabilities, and is ranked #1 in Source-to-Contract and Source-to-Pay in The Hackett Group's most recent Solution Map.
Why
GEP's vision is to help our customers advance to autonomous procurement and supply chains. An AI-native, agentic platform is the foundation that makes this possible.
Consolidating the portfolio under GEP Quantum Intelligence is a deliberate step toward that vision: giving every GEP customer access to a single, state-of-the-art, AI-native platform, a single roadmap and a single accountable partner, instead of multiple capabilities evolving on separate paths.
One unified environment, with the full power of GEP's intelligence behind it, is what enables autonomy at enterprise scale, and it is what positions our customers to operate at the speed and intelligence the next era will demand.

How
There is no immediate change to your operations. What you have today continues to work, fully supported, with the same GEP team alongside you. Your contracts, pricing and support arrangements are unchanged.
For GEP Quantum customers, the platform you run today has simply been renamed GEP Quantum Intelligence to fully reflect all the new capabilities. There is nothing to migrate.
For GEP SMART customers, GEP SMART remains fully supported, and GEP will manage the transition to GEP Quantum Intelligence collaboratively, at your pace, when you are ready.

Consolidating GEP's portfolio under GEP Quantum Intelligence is GEP's strategic commitment to your future: a single AI-native foundation built for the next era of autonomous procurement and supply chains, rather than a collection of separate products evolving in parallel. It eliminates the complexity of managing multiple point capabilities and brings everything together under one coherent foundation.

For GEP Quantum Customers
Nothing changes operationally, and everything changes in terms of what is now possible. The platform you run today is GEP Quantum Intelligence. There is nothing to migrate or reconfigure. Your operations continue exactly as they are, on the same strong foundation, and your roadmap just became more exciting.
No. Access continues exactly as it does today. If anything ever changes in the future, your GEP team will let you know in advance.
The new name better reflects the depth of what the platform truly is: the convergence of agentic AI with GEP's multi-dimensional intelligence, including procurement expertise, supplier knowledge, category mastery, market intelligence and decades of accumulated know-how. Quantum Intelligence reflects GEP's conviction that intelligence, in all its dimensions, is the defining capability of the next era of procurement and supply chain.
The full GEP capability portfolio is now part of GEP Quantum Intelligence, so capabilities that previously sat across separate GEP brands can be added to your environment without a migration or separate integration project. Activation does not happen by default. You can subscribe to additional capabilities by talking to your GEP team, who can walk you through the details.
The platform you run is continuously enhanced, and roadmap improvements flow into your environment without re-implementation. But getting full value from new capabilities, particularly agentic workflows and the deeper layers of multi-dimensional intelligence, typically requires a guided activation conversation. We recommend a capability review with your GEP team to map what is active in your environment today and what additional capabilities you can purchase.
Automatically. As GEP Quantum Intelligence evolves, every enhancement that lands flows directly into your environment. There is no re-implementation, no migration. You are already on the platform, and every improvement is yours.
For GEP SMART Customers
GEP SMART remains fully supported and maintained. There is no disruption to your current procurement operations, no forced migration timeline and no risk to your platform. Your operations continue exactly as they are. When you are ready to move forward, GEP Quantum Intelligence represents an opportunity, not a deadline.
Yes. GEP Quantum Intelligence is built so its capabilities can be made available to GEP SMART customers without requiring a full transition. Specific GEP Quantum Intelligence capabilities, such as agentic workflows, supply chain intelligence, ESG tracking and reporting, and the deeper layers of multi-dimensional intelligence, can be activated alongside your existing GEP SMART environment. Your GEP team can walk you through which capabilities deliver the most value for your organization, how they integrate with what you have today, and what it looks like commercially. This way, you continue to operate on GEP SMART as you do now, while progressively benefiting from the intelligence and orchestration that GEP Quantum Intelligence brings.
GEP SMART was built to manage procurement processes. GEP Quantum Intelligence is built to run them, intelligently and at enterprise scale. The architectural difference is generational. GEP Quantum Intelligence is AI-native, end-to-end across procurement and supply chain, and powered by multi-dimensional intelligence that includes agentic AI converged with procurement expertise, market data, supplier intelligence and category mastery.
GEP SMART includes automation features such as rules-based workflows, approvals and process triggers. These follow predefined rules. AI-native GEP Quantum Intelligence operates at a different level. Its agents draw on real-time market data, supplier intelligence and procurement expertise to determine the right action in context, rather than executing a fixed rule set. The difference is between automation that follows instructions and intelligence that helps determine what the instructions should be.
Yes. GEP SMART continues to be actively maintained, and your environment will continue to be supported by GEP. Your GEP team can share specifics relevant to your deployment.
Any planned enhancements, configurations or roadmap discussions you are working on with your GEP team continue as agreed. Your GEP team will reach out if there is anything specific to align on.
