GEP, Enporion to present at Platts 10th Annual Strategic Supply Chain Management for Utilities Conference

Joint presentations with clients on procurement issues impacting the Energy & Utilities sector

GEP and Enporion (A GEP Company) will both present case studies with business partners in the Energy & Utilities sector at the Platts 10th Annual Strategic Supply Chain Management for Utilities Conference on the 16th and 17th January 2012 respectively.

The joint appearance at the conference follows the acquisition of Enporion by GEP on January 9, 2012.

On Monday, January 16 at 10:00 AM (PST), GEP and its client PPL Services Corporation, will be presenting a case study titled, “Strategic Sourcing in an M&A Environment.” Speakers at the event include Steve Bucalo, Vice President, Energy and Utilities, GEP and Joe Zelechoski, Executive Director, Supply Chain, PPL Services Corporation. The presentation will discuss merger strategies and their implications, developing a collaborative sourcing framework, key challenges faced and results achieved.

Enporion, with its client, Ameren and its business partner, Scientech, will present a case study titled, “Inventory Availability - A Process for Assuring all Parts are Available when Needed without Excess Inventory,” on Tuesday, January 17 at 11:00 AM (PST). Speakers include George Gordon, Chief Executive Officer, Enporion; Dennis Weisenborn, Vice President and General Manager, Supply Chain, Ameren Services and Dan Meils, Senior Director, Scientech, a business unit of Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Company.

GEP and Enporion will also share a networking booth showcasing tech-demos and service offerings at the venue.
