GEP Selected by Yorkshire Building Society to Provide End-To-End Procurement Services and Technology in Multi-Year Agreement

CLARK, NJ – February 11, 2016 – GEP, a leading global provider of procurement services and procurement software to Fortune 500 and Global 2000 enterprises worldwide, announced today that the U.K.-based Yorkshire Building Society (YBS), the second largest building society in the United Kingdom, has selected GEP to provide a full range of procurement solutions, including sourcing and procurement services and procurement software.

Under the terms of an initial three-year agreement, GEP will provide a broad spectrum of source-to-pay services to YBS, including source-to-contract support, supplier relationship management, and procurement operations. At the same time, GEP will also provide YBS its SaaS-based procurement platform – native to cloud, touch and mobile technologies – to help automate, streamline and improve the overall source-to-pay process. YBS will eventually leverage the unified platform’s robust spend analysis, sourcing, contract management and procure-to-pay capabilities, among other functionalities.

Founded in 1864 and headquartered in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, YBS is a mutual society that provides the communities it serves with savings, mortgage, insurance and investment products. With assets of approximately £38.5 billion, YBS provides these services through a network of 230 branches and 96 associated agencies.

“We’re delighted and very proud to be working with a community-minded organization that makes such a fundamental and important contribution to the lives of people it serves as members,” said Neha Shah, executive vice president and head of business development at GEP.
