Paul Tepper brings over 20 years of experience to his role as the VP of artificial intelligence at GEP, where he leads the company's AI vision, strategy and execution.
He has a distinguished background in AI, having most recently served as VP and head of AI, machine learning & data science, at WorkFusion, an AI automation startup based in New York. Previously, Paul was an executive director at Morgan Stanley, focusing on AI and NLP applications for wealth management. Earlier in his career, he worked at Nuance Communications as the head of the Technology Advancement Group's AI Lab and as a product manager for AI, machine learning and natural language understanding.
He holds a Ph.D. in computer science and communication studies from Northwestern University, an M.Sc. in AI and NLP from the University of Edinburgh, and a B.A. in computer science, linguistics, and cognitive science from Rutgers University.
Residing in Glen Rock, New Jersey, Paul enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two children. A lover of vegetarian cuisine, he takes pleasure in cooking dishes from various cultures and sharing them with friends and family.
